The design task consisted of a new interpretation of the so called „Odessa-Grid“ in the central area of the city. The quality and the characteristics of the down-town block structure present good conditions for urban transformation and new uses. The project consists of a block intervention with a focus on urban housing, respecting the existing urban grid structure, but optimizing it for current and future requirements.
