Jewish Quarter Pidzamche 700 Richia Lvova 1998
That quarter of „Pidzamche /700 Richia L' vova“ is situated at the interface of the medieval city centre of Lviv and the northern industrial areas of the soviet time. For the upcoming urban development this area is gaining a key role regarding the urgently required renewal of the urban infrastructure as well as the current lack of contemporary housing in central Lviv.
The aim of the workshop was to develop urban design concepts for a reorganization of this quarter, introducing new standards of dwelling, public space and mixed uses under the specific economic and urbanistic conditions.
