Design in Wartime: Challenges in Modern Ukraine
Opening of the Exhibition and presentation of the Catalogue,
January 26th, 2026 at ZAG Gallery in Lviv, Ukraine.
This exhibition discussed the necessity of reorienting design and exploring new areas and topics within the context of war. It featured 20 large-format posters from a variety of design fields, ranging from urban design to art therapy. Alongside the exhibition, the authors presented a catalogue of the same title. The Professors Bohdan Cherkes and Viktor Shtets gave a presentation explaining the contents of the exhibition which was followed by a lively discussion and joint review of the exhibition, as well as a discussion of the catalogue.
